FlipPDF to Word transforms your Adobe PDF documents into Microsoft Word DOC files, preserving – as much as possible – the original layout of the PDF document. The program offers you various conversion modes – a batch mode, a “hot directories” mode, and a command-line mode.

The batch mode will let you select full directories and/or any number of individual PDF files and will convert all of them in one single operation. The “Hot Directories” mode allows you to keep an eye on a specific directory, so that any new file dropped into the folder in question will be converted into a Word file automatically. This feature is highly useful in network environments where various users are required to convert into DOC files all incoming PDF files. Finally, the command-line mode will give you the possibility of performing PDF-to-DOC conversions without opening the interface provided, using a DOS window instead.

The program provides no settings, so that neither the conversion process nor the resulting layout can be customized in any way. The results are generally of a high standard, regardless of the content of the original PDF document - text-based PDF documents with simple layouts usually require no or very few post-production tasks.
